This was our second visit, and we absolutely love this place! It’s our favorite Italian restaurant in the area—we happily drive an hour just to eat here. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and we love that they offer both beautiful indoor and outdoor seating during the summer. The staff is always welcoming and kind. This time we had the mushroom pizza and the meat lasagna, and both were absolutely incredible. The tiramisu is honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Everything we’ve tried has been delicious. We can’t wait to come back!
Pasta was excellent! Calamari was good. Wine was good. Service was good. Overall, a good experience, other than the pasta being really good, we weren't blown away by the service or the atmosphere. You get "free" bread. Which is great, except it's a very small portion, served with oil that is large enough for 5x the amount of bread. I expected a larger wine offering than what was provided. I did find an Oregon option that was good, but for an Italian place, I expected a larger list, that would have had more variety (almost all reds were from California).
Finally had a chance to check this place out as a nearby local! A lot of my colleagues and friends love this place, so our visit was overdue. The restaurant is beautiful and has a great aesthetic. I also loved the different salt and pepper shakers at each table, which was a cute touch. The staff was kind and quick, especially considering how busy this place always is. I ordered the eggplant parm for dinner and thought it was alright, though I personally would’ve liked a little more flavor in the sauce. My husband ordered the chicken riggies (extra spicy), and the sauce itself was really good, though the amount of green and black olives was a bit overwhelming for him. We also ordered espresso martinis, and they make theirs creamy, which was solid. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely come back to try different dishes next time.
