I ran in just to check it out and maybe get something new. It's a really nice boutique with clothing for the whole family, plus accessories and local jewelry. Kate is fantastic - friendly, engaging and eager to help. I wasn't shopping for jeans, but they looked great. Then I remembered that my friend swears by Kate's jeans. I did end up purchasing a summer dress that I just couldn't leave behind. And I can't wait to check out jeans in the fall.
I was looking around the shop when I decided to try on two pairs of pants. I ask the lady who was running the front desk which I assume was the owner for a fitting room she said yes there in the back. I walk over to the fitting room area and pick the last one. I tried on the first pair of pants I had grabbed and opened the current to show my mom. go to try on the second pair of pants while I was go to try on the second pair of pants I heard noises outside of the fitting room I assumed it was the owners daughters (| assuming they were four or five) just playing and running around outside of the fitting room area and just ignored it. As I am in the middle of changing one other the owners daughters grabs the curtain and I turn around to see her staring at me and then she shuts the curtain and I am assuming the owner was watching because she told her daughter to not open the curtains. I left the store shortly after because I felt really awkward.
Awesome experience! My son had a week-long baseball tournament at Cooperstown Dreams park and the forecast was high 80s/90s when I packed but changed to 60s after 1 day here. I needed new clothes. I’m from Chicago so I was a little apprehensive on what I would find. I was pleasantly surprised when I got there and loved everything! PLUS the lady who helped me was super helpful. She even looked up the weather for the rest of my trip and went through the racks with me (and not in a pushy, overbearing way either)-Ended up spending way more than I planned but love everything I
