i literally have never written a review on google so yk its bad. my experience has been terrible. my parents and i rented an apartment in jersey city with whitestone. they are terrible at communicating, they are rude and unprofessional. ive had many incidents where we need maintenance to come and fix things in the apartment and it takes days for them to come. and not to fix something small, issues like toileting, NO hot water, ceiling LEAKING. i mean hazards really. they come on their own time, they answer the phone whenever the want. and dont get me started when we finally left. i left and moved from the apartment in jersey city end of march 2026. its may 18th and i still dont have my security deposit. they keep saying its "on the way" (to my new address). just bs, terrible communication and so vague, takes forever to get someone to respond, email communication sucks. everyone and everything is just a joke there. not recommended, literally live anywhere else.
DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE: I rent from them currently and this is the 8th day with no hot water. They do not fix heating issues and have left my family without a working radiator for 5 years and only have 2 in my entire apartment (The radiator is still broken to this day). It took them 3 years to just fix a broken step. The management teams will tell you numerous contradictory things - for example the Manager Esther told me she purchased yesterday the part to fix the hot water boiler and a plumber never showed up. Today a person name Dave tells me that they have to order a whole new boiler and that someone will resolve the issue today. Keep in mind this is day 8 with no Hot water. Whitestone Management is purposely neglectful when it comes to doing repairs. They have cashed my rent money orders and demanded new payments on numerous occasions until I showed them that is says the Money order was cashed by them - I have to prove that they willfully didn’t log my payment in. There are other issues but this is a long statement already. I left proof of my statement.
I recently moved into my new apartment, and I am delighted with it. The apartment is beautiful, clean, and spacious. The entire process with the management team was incredibly easy and calm. After signing the lease, they provided a thorough walk-through and handed over the keys seamlessly. I highly recommend renting through them to anyone looking for a positive experience.
