I have worked with Veterinarians most my life. I brought my Frenchie in to Heritage as I was visiting our family cabin in Westford, my dog came up with a UTI - I’ve been wanting to establish another Vet relationship anyway as I eventually plan to make Westford my home. I was thrilled with Dr. Jones at Heritage -they urine tested while I was there and what a gorgeous clean facility!!! The staff and Dr Jones were excellent. I highly recommend them.
We love this veterinary clinic. My pups and I followed Dr. Jones here but every single person we've interacted with here has been excellent with my animals, and kind in general. Their lobby and general building is set up perfectly for all types of animals' personalities, which is much appreciated as someone with relatively reactive dogs. I also love that they keep some day-of slots open for non-emergent but last minute visit needs. It might be a bit more expensive than other veterinary practices, but it is VET OWNED and not CORPORATE OR PRIVATE EQUITY OWNED, so the level of care you get it much higher AND the staff are treated better. You get what you pay for!
They make you pay $10 to get a prescription written if you want to buy meds from any company of your choosing but then won't cooperate with the company to confirm the prescription. I understand that Heritage is just trying to maximize their profits but is frustrating when I'm just trying to save money while getting medince that my dog needs. The vet was nice but this has left a bad taste in my mouth.
